The Resolution

Steven got this for me for my anniversary me:

I DO solemnly resolve before, God to take full responsibility for myself, my wife, and my children.
I WILL love them, protect them, serve them and teach them the Word of God as the spiritual leader of my home.
I WILL be faithful to my wife, to love and honor her, and be willing to lay down my life for her as Jesus Christ did for me.
I WILL bless my children and teach them to love God with all of their hearts, all of their minds, and all of their strength.
I WILL train them to honor authority and live responsibly.
I WILL confront evil, pursue justice, and love mercy.
I WILL pray for others and treat them with kindness, respect, and compassion.
I WILL work diligently to provide for the needs of my family.
I WILL forgive those who have wronged me and reconcile with those I have wronged.
I WILL learn from my mistakes, repent of my sins, and walk with integrity as a man answerable to God.
I WILL seek to honor God, be faithful to His church, obey His Word, and do His will.
I WILL courageously work with the strength God provides to fulfill this resolution for the rest of my life and for His glory.
"As for me and my house we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15

Just some fun

We went bowling and Illianna beat me by three points! It was a very fun day. She is seriously a natural. She is growing up to be such a big girl. I love watching her grow and learn.

Wow

Wow it has been WAY to long! I promise I will get better at doing this...
So What's new since I last posted. We moved from number 7 to number 1 which has crappy carpet but it is a two bedroom with an actual bathroom! An actual kitchen, with two oven! And both Illianna and Steven and I have separate rooms, Steven and I still share. But now Illi's can't spy on us... :)
Illianna is now TWO!!! She is still 19 pounds. She is crazy fun! I need to start potty training her since her new routine is to wake up and strip naked. I am glad she doesn't do it in public but now a days she wants to get dressed herself and wants to get undressed her self and she still strongly hates diaper changes. For her birthday Steven and I bought her an animal sound puzzle and a princess tent. She ate a mini chocolate cupcake for papa Mark. It was pretty much a normal day in my opinion.
Steven and I have now been married for a whopping FIVE YEARS!!! I can't even believe it!
For our anniversary I bought Steven the online Star Wars game and a 60 day play card. I also bought him a superman mug.
After watch the movie Courageous he was inspired to order a copy of the Resolution that they sign. I will write the whole thing in my next post. It also came with a "I will" wrist band. Two days later he bought me Pokemon Emerald for the GBA.
For the whole day Steven didn't have to worry about class. So After my AM class we went to the salon and both got hair cuts. I also got a deep conditioning thing that I don't know what it was for but it felt nice. I decided to go nuts and now I have short bangs. I haven't had bangs since elementary school. I am still getting use to it.
My buddy Joey watch Illianna for the night. We went out to eat at the Patio Grill. It was VERY good! Then we went and got couple massages. My first professional massage! It WAS AMAZING!!! I loved it!!
Well I think that is a good update of our events. Now please enjoy pics of my big two year old!

Our new old place

In order for us to NOT move our landlord lowered out rent to 395 a month (including utilties) as well as got us new carpet! We had to pack up everything that was on carpet. Which took us about a week. School got in the way.
September 4 2011 we had Adree Lamb come over to play with Illianna and we mudd the walls in baby girls room. It took ten hours! We had to mudd the walls because they were extremely textured and we were unable to put anything on them.
September 5th we sanded the walls from all the gloppy mudd parts. We tried so hard to get the brick wall smoother.
September 6th we finished packing the house and got everything out expect our beds.
September 7th the carpet guy came! He came a little after nine in the morning. We left and took Illianna to gymnastics! (which she loved!) She had a blast! The carpet guy finished at about three pm. We moved our mattress in. We had to go back to the motel but Steven stayed behind to primer the walls. Anna Rowberry helped him.
September 8th after we finished school we took Illianna to Joey Gillespie house and we got to painting her room pink! We picked a lovely shade of "Fairest of the them all" from home depot.
Finally on Sept 9th we moved our stuff in! We rearranged Illianna's room as well as ours. We are nicely moved in (besides laundry)
It feels amazing to have a nice clean place! I love how soft the carpet it. Illianna loves being able to go down her slide in her room.

Family

We have made the decision that after last trip up north we will never again go to a family event! We had two, one for my parents at the cabin and another for Steven's family. They were terrible! Steven stupid sister Danielle ruined EVERYTHING at BOTH reunions! I would rather die than have to be near her ever again!
So if you want to us again for a family event that "thing" cannot be invited as well. It is NEVER happen again!

Cloth

I got my trial of cloth diapers today. I got two gro via hybrid's one mod flower snaps and the other is orange hook and loop. I also got a snow cone colored softbums. It came with three types of inserts.
I am so excited to do cloth diapers! It took for almost two years to convince Steven to let me try them.
Illianna had already tried them out with all she gots. Lol!
I love how cute they are and I know it will be worth it in the end. I get them for three weeks, so much fun!

School

We pasted our spring semester! And now we are on to Summer. I am really proud of us because with our refund/loan money we have paid all of our bills up to September! So we owe no one nothing till than. :) Also, WE PAID OFF OUR CAR!!!! I am SSSOOO happy to be a car owner! Now we have to try to sell Celica so that we can get a four door. I am sad about it since it was my engagement ring and four doors don't seem like an upgrade to me. But oh well "the good of the family" is more important. Blah Blah Blah I am gonna miss my car none the less.
Steven is doing really good on his running. He did the mile in a half in 11:07:16 which is amazing! I pray he gets into the academy.
