Jobs, work, and fun things to make money

Let me start with my job story.
I worked at Synegry which was a telemarketing place that had some really nice people working there and I enjoyed them. However hours on the phone all day not making my sales quota was really hard on me. So I quit because I had an interview at Call Caption that afternoon and knew I would be late if I didn't get off early. Before I went to my interview I found out that Dixie College was hiring for a secretary at the Heating Planet. I filled out an application with them and went to my interview.
I passed my interview and got offered a part time job. Then I went to Dixie to give them my application and they hired me on the spot! I felt amazing! Both jobs paid much better then my original job.
I am currently at Dixie working my four hours a day. While C. C. is working on setting my orientation. :)

Now for Steven.
He got the job at C.C. which inspired me to apply. He is loving it and works 40 hrs a week plus he gets full benefits! Thank goodness!
He did the physical test for the Utah Highway Patrol and passed with flying colors! I am so proud of him! He also passed the written test and now he has his first oral interview on the 29th of this month.
We also went to Salina Kansas for him to interview for the police department down there. It was such a long drive!!! But it was nice to see Chelsea and Mark. He seems to have passed that interview since they asked him to fill out the personal history paperwork and mail it back.
He graduated the academy on July 14. I am so proud of my honey! I can't wait for him to be Officer Harlow. :)

Sick

I am sick today and Illianna is on the mend. Steven gets to take care of both of us. :( I finally woke up in time for church but Steven didn't let me go since I sound so horrible. Illianna woke up cold and cuddled him this morning and fell back to sleep on his tummy for an hour. It would have been sweet if she wasn't covered in boogers. So ya... I am miserable. Just thought you should know. :)

Fastest, Easiest Nap!

Today I came home for class to find Illianna brushing Steven's hair. I laid down on the floor and Illianna jumped off the couch and laid on my tummy. Steven asked if she wanted to go night-night and she said no. I told her to go get her blankie if she wanted to lay on me. She got up and went and pulled her blankie out of her crib. Came back and laid on top of me again. I stroked her hair sang Jesus wants me for a sunbeam and she was out! This is officially the shortest easiest nap of the year!!! WHAOO!!!!

She is so funny! Just one of the many things we did for Illianna during my spring break. :)

Steven's SFO Block

Steven is done with the first half of POST! I am so proud of him!
In a minute he did 30 push up.
In a minute he did 38 sit ups.
He ran the mile and a half in 12:50
He ran his 300 meter dash in 42 seconds!
.
He is so amazing on his physical test! But what really matters is how well you do on the written test. You need a 70 % to pass. His first test he got an 80% second test he got 84% third test he got an 88% and for his final he got a 92%!!! I am again so very proud of him! He is doing so great! I am so grateful for Steven and his dedication to POST and our family. I love you Steven! You are the greatest husband in the world!

The Resolution

Steven got this for me for my anniversary me:

I DO solemnly resolve before, God to take full responsibility for myself, my wife, and my children.
I WILL love them, protect them, serve them and teach them the Word of God as the spiritual leader of my home.
I WILL be faithful to my wife, to love and honor her, and be willing to lay down my life for her as Jesus Christ did for me.
I WILL bless my children and teach them to love God with all of their hearts, all of their minds, and all of their strength.
I WILL train them to honor authority and live responsibly.
I WILL confront evil, pursue justice, and love mercy.
I WILL pray for others and treat them with kindness, respect, and compassion.
I WILL work diligently to provide for the needs of my family.
I WILL forgive those who have wronged me and reconcile with those I have wronged.
I WILL learn from my mistakes, repent of my sins, and walk with integrity as a man answerable to God.
I WILL seek to honor God, be faithful to His church, obey His Word, and do His will.
I WILL courageously work with the strength God provides to fulfill this resolution for the rest of my life and for His glory.
"As for me and my house we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15
