The firsts of Thanksgiving

This years Thanksgiving was GREAT! A nice stress free day. :) The day started out with Steven, Mom and Kim running the fleet feet 5k. Note that this was Steven's very first race. (other than 1 1/2 mile runs testing for departments)

Steven ran it in 26 minutes which put him in tenth place in his age group. (25-29)

After he finished he went back and finished the race with Kim who did it 32 minutes.

Then he once again ran back to finish up with my mom. He was so excited I could hardly keep track of him.

After the race Mom, Kim and I went to my parents house to make Thanksgiving dinner. It was so fun! I learned how to clean and stuff a turkey. Mom taught us how to make Grandma Bowers' stuffing. I learned to make gravy. It was just so nice to be cooking food and not worrying about anything else. Behold the fruit of our labors. :)

Once we were done eating Steven left for the store to try his hand at his first black Friday shopping. I joined him two hours later. But still in time for everything. We got EVERYTHING we wanted! (which was mostly for my parents) It was a lot of fun. Steven had fun which is important, hopefully he will go again next year.

retard kiss

Last night Steven was getting his Jazz uniform set out for him to play basket ball in the morning. He is looking for the top among all three baskets of clean clothes and asks me if I know where it is. I tell him i know I washed the top but I didn't see the bottoms.
S- You had to have washed the bottoms I just wore them so I know they were dirty.
C- No I really didn't see them.
After dumping all three baskets he is worried.
S- I need them for ball tomorrow.
C- I really don't know where they are. Check the folded clothes if they are in that pile.
So we go into our room and as Steven bends down to open our bottom dresser drawer he stops.
S- Wow! Wow! We both need a retard kiss!
C- Why?
S- I'm wearing them!
Yes, Steven was wearing the short and neither of us noticed!

p.s. a retard kiss is when you kiss the forehead and rub behind the ear.

Baby

I am suppose to write down a pregnancy memory already. So here it is.

We suck at keeping secrets So this is proof by talking to my mom,

me: "Hey mom burn notice season 5 is now on netflix"
mom: "Oh really that is the best news I've heard all day!"
me: "Better than me being pregnant?"
mom: "Oh yea we have been waiting for burn notice for a long time"

Then we talked about nothing important from there. For a few minutes and I said goodnight. I called and told Steven this story and he decided to call my mom and let her know.

Steven: "Hey mom, you know Camilla wasn't kidding right?"
Mom: "About burn notice, I know we are going to watch it now."
Steven " No about the other thing"
Mom "What other thing?"
Steven "About her being pregnant."
The line goes silent, Mom: "WHAT?! Camilla's Pregnant! That twerp!"

Lol so there is my pregnancy memory.

Oh and I also went to Doc Cain for my appointment to talk about IUI and weather or not birth control for a few months would help me get pregnant.

Spring Break!

Since I don't have face book I am not sure how to post a tone of pictures.... But I will figure something out...
I just finished Spring Break and Illianna and I went up north to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Bruner. (Illi is so in love with Grandma)
We went up Saturday with Steven so that he could work for his dad. Illi and I went to grandparents house and played. Steven worked 14 total hours (Sat and Sun) before he drove home. I used the Jetta all week which was a fun change of pace.
So Sunday we went to church with grandma and grandpa. Illi was a pain in Sacrament meeting because she refused to eat all day so grandma had to steal gold fish from the nursery supply.   Which made her funner. It was Thomas Ballard's Homecoming. It was great to hear him speak. He was a great missionary. Illi stayed for the first  hour of nursery and I chatted with Steven on the phone. I took her out and we went home for a nap so that she wouldn't be grumpy at dinner time. Chelsea and Kim came for dinner and it was nice. Kim made bunny shaped cupcakes that were really good and looked amazing!
Monday Steven went home and left me and Illi for fun for ourselves. Just kidding he gave us some money to survive. :) Monday was my mom's day off work so we stayed home and played with grandma. I made lunch of Jessica's famous mac and beans. I don't think they liked it very much but I do so there! Mom and I had some great talks... I am going to leave it at that.
Tuesday I was finally able to go to Kym's house! It was fun for do nothing at someone's house who has cable where she only watches the ID channel. It was lovely. Illi was a pain the whole day though and Tru and Layna were kinda crabby but it happens. We serious did nothing but gab. Todd wasn't too happy about coming home  to a dirty house but heck what can I say we were "busy".

OFFICAL

I threw up finally today! 6 weeks 5 days! Mark it! I AM OFFICIALLY PREGNANT!!!!!

18 weeks

I am now 18 weeks pregnant with our little boy. Illianna now insists on being treated like a baby all the time! She wants to be held like a baby and sung to. It's cute but tiring because she is heavy. :) But I am so in love with her, I wonder how her brother will be?
Steven is still applying for work and interviewing. We just keep praying some department wants him soon.
I swear I am much bigger now then I was with Illianna, what do you think?

Update on Steven's eye

Photo: Update to previous status:
Steven went back to the ER this morning. The pain intensity was so high, he was waking all through the night with cold sweats and vomited multiple times. The eye is healing, but the light sensitivity is very high.
He is to take it easy all weekend, and stay in darkened quarters while applying 5 separate medicinal eye drops every hour. This is what his eye looks like now -- 2 days after the initial injury.

Illianna has been very sweet this whole time. She gives me all his different eye drops and holds his hand every time. She likes to have mommy pretend to put some in her eyes after Daddy gets some. We go back to the doctor on Monday to see if it is still improving. The eye itself is whiter instead of pink so that is great!
