Steven went back to the ER yesterday morning. The pain intensity was so high, he was waking all through the night with cold sweats and vomited multiple times. The eye is healing, but the light sensitivity is very high.
He is
to take it easy all weekend, and stay in darkened quarters while
applying 5 separate medicinal eye drops every hour. This is what his
eye looks like now -- 2 days after the initial injury.
Illianna has been very sweet this whole time. She gives me all his different eye drops and holds his hand every time. She likes to have mommy pretend to put some in her eyes after Daddy gets some. We go back to the doctor on Monday to see if it is still improving. The eye itself is whiter instead of pink so that is great!
